1961 Buick Invicta Description

Up for bid is a very nice, clean 61 Buick Invicta. It has its original 401 Nailhead (445 Wildcat) motor, 2-speed automatic transmission and a 4-BBL carburetor. I will include the original carburetor and air cleaner for the car. The Edlebrock on there is brand new. The original carb needs a rebuild.
Car runs and looks great. It's very fast. The mileage is original @ 65,054. It is a 2-owner car. No rust. All the stainless and chrome are original. No pitting anywhere, but the bumpers are showing their age. Things that were done in the past year:
  • New Paint
  • New Upholstery
  • New Carpet
  • New Windlace
  • New Battery
  • New Carburetor
  • New Dual Exhaust
  • New Weatherstripping all around

I'm sure there's a lot more, but that's the majority of it. No rattles underneath, no leaks at all, doesn't smoke. Car is a little dusty under the hood because this is Vegas and nothing stays clean!
Cons:
  • There is bubbling on the vent wings. Rest of the glass is good
  • Radio doesn't work, but it does make noise when you turn it on - Never looked into it
  • No lenses for the lower dash courtesy lights - but they do work
  • Headliner is dirty and will most likely need replacement. ($200 on Ebay)

The wheels and tires that are on the car will be included, but, I will also include the stock steel wheels and Buick spinner hubcaps. The steel wheels have very old tires on them. They do hold air, but I wouldn't drive around the block on them. I'm not sure of the condition of the current tires, but the car seems to ride fine.
If you're looking for a show car - this isn't for you. The car is not perfect. It's just a very well maintained classic that you can enjoy cruising around in.
