1936 Buick Model 46 Coupe - No Title (For Parts)
1936 Buick Other Description
Two years ago I inherited this from my dad and started to fix it up. I spent a week straight methodically sandblasting the entire exterior of it down to the bare metal. So it is 100% free of any body filler or old paint. After that I sealed it up with some expensive Urethane Primer/Sealer I got from Napa (I can't remember the part number of the primer/sealer). But it costed me $400 a gallon plus the hardener and reducer. The stuff is super tough and sealed it up really well. however there were a couple areas behind the rear tires where the sheet metal was rusted through when I painted it Since its been out in the weather a couple years, it now has some rust streaks. So what you see in the photos is what you get. Rear end is a bit lumpy but other than that its really straight. Floor boards don't have any holes rusted through them and trunk is the same way. Really solid body overall. Unfortunately I lost all the fenders, hood, grill and other parts that I had for it in my house fire last year. :( So I just need to sell it and get what I can out of it at this point. Plus it's hard for me to see it out in the weather. I don't have a shop or tools anymore. So, it needs someone to love on it at this point. I have no title but you can apply for a conditional title for it in most states. You are responsible to come load it up and haul it off. It will be accessible when you arrive with your trailer. If you have any questions just let me know. Thanks and happy bidding!
