1970 Buick Skylark GS Description

This GS Buick is very solid. Has been sitting in a garage for 25 years. original color was butternut yellow. Brown interior. Ran very well when driven in garage. Has original 455 engine turbo 400 trans and 3.42 posi rear. The trunk is near perfect, as are the floors. The original undercoating is still on it. I did not attempt to start it. pulled the plugs put some marvel mystery oil in the cylinders and it turned over easy with a ratchet wrench. Put a battery in and it spun over like it should. even has the original aluminum brake drums. Drivers side seat bottom is torn up. many new gm parts from 25 years ago come with car. Look close at the pictures to many to list. 99 percent of the car is there, it will be an easy restoration. Minimal rust and dents on rear quarters. Doors are solid and shut like a new car. No droop or sag. Peeled up rear corners of vinyl top where rust is always a problem, little to no rust. It sits nice and high because it was stored on blocks so tires where off the floor. Does need new tires, dry rotted. will hold air to put on a trailer. Grill has cracks in honey comb that is hard to see. Will probably need brake work and fuel system work from sitting. Gas tank seems solid. Hood release does not work. All in all this is a very solid start to a nice restored Buick. I tried to include pictures of the entire car.
