UP FOR AUCTION IS MY 1967 CADILLAC THAT I HAVE OWNED FOR 6 YEARS.I PURCHASED IT FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER WHO WAS IN HIS 90'SI HAVE DRIVEN THIS CAR ABOUT 15,000 MILES IN THE PAST 6 YEARS, SOME TRIPS AS LONG AS 100 MILES EACH WAY. I ALSO USED IT FOR 5 DIFFERENT FAMILY AND FRIENDS WEDDINGS TO CARRY THE BRIDE AND GROOM AROUND.
WHEN I GOT THE CAR IT HAD JUST HAD ITS ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION REBUILT. IT ALSO HAD ITS INTERIOR RE DONE. THE SEATS ARE VERY CONFY.
THE CAR IS NEARLY 100% COMPLETE AND ORIGINAL. HAS ALL THE TRIM AND ITS IN GOOD CONDITION. THE CAR WAS REPAINTED THE ORIGINAL COLOR AT SOME POINT IN TIME. THE PAINT ON THE SIDES OF LOOK VERY NICE THE HOOD AND ROOF HAVE LOST SOME OF THE CLEAR COAT. BUT I WAX IT YEARLY AND IT LOOKS FINE. I DO NOT THINK IT EVER HAD A ACCIDENT, BUT THERE ARE A FEW SMALL AREAS OF BONDO ON THE CAR. THERE ARE ALSO A FEW SMALL AREAS OF RUST ON THE CAR, YOU WILL SEE THEM IN THE PIC BUT ALL ARE SMALL. A FEW SCRATCHES HERE AND THERE BUT NOTHING CRAZY, CAR IS DENT FREE . GLASS IS ALL CADILLAC FACTORY TINT GLASS. THE BLUE TINT GLASS WITH BLUE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR LOOK GREAT THE UNDERSIDE OF THE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. LOTS OF HEAVY CADILLAC UNDERCOATING.
THE CAR HAS A TOTAL OF 121,000 MILES. THE REBUILT ENGINE AND TRANS WAS DONE AROUND 102,000..THE ENGINE AND TRANS ARE BOTH THE ORIGINAL.THE CAR ALSO HAS POWER WINDOWS, ALL 4 WORK, SOMETIME THE REAR DRIVERS SIDE GIVE ME A PROBLEM SINCE IT RARELY GOES UP OR DOWN. POWER SEAT AS BEEN REBUILT AND WORKS PROPERLY.ASTRONAUTIC EYE WAS REBUILT AND WORKS PROPERLY. THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS ALSO REBUILT ALONG WITH THE CLIMATE CONTROL. BOTH WORK PROPERLY. THE AC USES THE OLD R12 GAS. I USUALLY PUT A CAN OF GAS IN EVERY YEAR OR SO. I HAVE A CAN FOR THE NEXT OWNER. THE ONLY NON ORIGINAL THING IS THE RADIO. IT IS A REPRO THAT IS AN EXACT FIT. NO CUTTING. YOU CAN HOOK UP YOUR IPOD OR CELL PHONE TO IT TO HEAR TUNES. POWER ANTENNA WORKS. ALL THE GAUGES WORK.I REBUILT ALL 4 OF THE BRAKES ( 4 DRUM) ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO. NEW SHOES AND DRUMS. ALSO REPLACES A FEW LINES.
LIKE ANY OLD CAR THERE ARE THINGS THAT NEED TO DONE. THIS CAR IS NO EXCEPTION.
THE TIRES ARE ABOUT 7 YEARS OLD AND IN MY OPINION THEY SHOULD BE REPLACED. NO DRY ROT BUT JUST GETTING OLD. ALSO THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD GASKETS ON THE ENGINE NEED TO BE REPLACED. ONE PART OF THE PASSENGERS SIDE GASKETMUST HAVE BLEW OUT AND NOW THE CAR IS IDLING UNEVENLY. IT WILL NEED TO BE ADDRESSED. SMALL HOLE IN THE HEADLINER FROM A MOUSE SOME YEARS AGO
I JUST REPLACED THE STARTER ON THE CAR AND INSPECTED THE FRONT END ROCK SOLID. I REPLACED THE SHOCKS A FEW YEARS BACK AND SOME OF THE BALL JOINTS.FRESH TUNE UP PLUGS, WIRES CAP, COIL AND OIL CHANGE
