1920 Cadillac Model 59 7 Passenger Touring Car. Running, Driving, Original Car.
1920 Cadillac Other Description
Up for sale I have a 1920 Cadillac 7 passenger touring model 59. It is a conserved original car which has been kept up over the years.
Last year I had the original radiator re-cored at a cost of $3600. The pattern is "Moreoux" and it is finished in lead coated copper. It is absolutely beautiful, done by "The Brassworks" in California.
I had the gas tank boiled out and refinished in black.
The starter/generator was re-built.
The head-gaskets were replaced revealing clean un-scored cylinders with no wear.
The car runs and drives excellent.
The original leather seats were covered with Naugehyde covers in the 1960's. The original leather is underneath.
The top is old and worn.
I have the original side-curtains in pristine condition.
The dual exhaust sounds beautiful and the car has plenty of "pep"
The paint is very presentable for a driver. The rail around the top of the doors still has it's original paint.
The car is not missing any parts and has a matching set of Non-Skid tires.
There is no corrosion present nor is there any wood-rot.
The car still has it's original alemite grease fittings and leather boots on the suspension.
I have the following spares:
1 transmission, and extra transmission parts.
3 perfect heads
enough new clutch discs to re-build about 2+ clutches
new pistons, timing chains, and valves
3 starter generators
Headlamp and cowl lamp lenses
Driveshaft
Brake bands
Air compressor
Addl hardware and small parts.
