1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description

1957 Chevy BelAir 4dr Sedan. It's a survivor! Original 283 V8 with Powerglide Transmission. Runs and drives. It has a new gas tank, ending unit, nd fuel pump. The brakes have been gone through and are new. New battery tray, nd new rear transmission seal. The tires are alright and would get you around awhile. They have good tread but have a little weathering on them. All of the lights are working except for the backup lights and rear license plate light. It has the original Guide T3 headlamps in it. The speedometer and all the gauges are working. The dome light still works with the door switches. And I even had the original pushbutton radio working. The odometer reads 22432 miles but I cannot verify that for certain.
It is a very solid car for it's age. I could not find any holes in the floors. Floor braces are solid. The rockers and quarters are solid. The rear door lower pocket areas are solid. The frame is solid. You'll be a lot of time and money ahead on this car without having to do major rust repair underneath. There are a couple spots that would need a little attention if you're looking to restore it but personally I think it should be left as it is cause It's only original once! However there is a little bit of rust starting in both of the lower front fender corners, little in the area down low below the trunk lid like they all do, nd it could use a nicer rear bumper. The Sierra Gold paint is mostly all original but has been touched up in a couple of spots many years ago. The Adobe Beige top is still pretty nice yet for the age. You can see what your getting with this car, nlike a car that's had a cheap quicky paint job done and has been all cobbled together.. All of the glass is decent. The original LOF windshield does have a couple chips. The dash is pretty nice, ut the rest of the interior could use some help. All of the doors, oor locks, nd windows have been gone through and work like new. The heating system is bypassed as of now. And the vacuum windshield wipers are not working. It will also comes with a set of original hubcaps that aren't shown in the pictures.
I guess I don't know what else to say. I'd love to keep the car but it's time for someone else to enjoy it. It's getting hard to find them in this condition. It would make someone a cool summer cruiser. If you have any questions let me know. Selling as is. Thank you!
