1966 Chevrolet El Camino EL CAMINO/ CHEVELLE Description

Up for sale is my 1966 Chevy El Camino, this is a great example of a well maintained California survivor car.The car was bought new in Redondo Beach California and has never left the area. I bought the car recently from the original owners family. 122,000 orig. miles The car has Zero rust, paint is all original and is very presentable but is showing its age a bit. there are some very minor scratches and nicks, one small dent on the front corner of the right front fender. ( as shown in pictures) and 3 light door dings. the paint is getting thin on some edges but but is still very decent for a 50 year old car. the interior is super clean and all original except for the seat has been recovered back to original and the kick panels have been replaced with new ones with speakers and will come with the orig ones. it has a am-Fm CD player in the glove box. it has the original matching numbers 327 cu.in. 275 HP. motor that was rebuilt last December with around 5,000 miles on it and still under warranty. The original power glide transmission was rebuilt 20k miles ago. it has all new dual exhaust from front to back. complete new brake system with power disc brake conversion. new front end control arm bushings and drag link. new shocks front and rear with air shocks in rear like it came from the factory. The wheels were changed from 14 inch to 15 inch for the disc brake conversion. it still retains its original California commercial black license plates that have been on it since 1966 and the rear license plate frame from Lee White Chevrolet in Redondo Beach and I have the protecto plate/ warranty book for it that shows the matching engine numbers. the underside is in very good condition with no rust and no undercoating to hide anything The car runs and drives extremely well, pretty much just like it did when new, quiet and smooth with no squeaks or rattles. 50 year old Cars like this are almost impossible to find now days and if you appreciate nice original unmolested cars this might be for you. it will come with a clear California title in my name with current registration. shipping is up to the buyer but I will do all I can on my end to make sure its loaded safe and sound. The El Camino is extremely dependable and is ready for everyday use and always draws a crowd at any local car show because of its originality. It looks very presentable and would I not even think about painting it but that is up to the new owner, just remember its only original once.
