1977 Chevrolet Blazer Cheyenne Description

Up for grabs is a little nostalgia. It's a 1977 K5 Blazer that is a frame-off restoration. Let's face it, the 1977 Bronco was cute but the 1977 Blazer did everything better, and the prices are already starting to shift on good examples. This one gets looks everywhere it goes (LOTS of thumbs up), and it does so in style. This is equally at home on the ranch as it is on the town. It's a rare 2WD, which has a more comfortable ride and an extremely tight turning radius. This was our "beach cruiser", but we've simply got too many cars and I can't bear to leave this one outside (it's always garaged). There are literally too many new parts to list, but the major ones include: Rebuilt 350 V8 with Corvette Throttle Body Injection and Vortec Heads New High Capacity Aluminum Radiator with Twin 14" Fans and Custom Shroud Magnaflow Stainless Exhaust With Dual Cats & X pipe crossover, Steel Long-Tube Headers (not Magnaflow) ALL New Brake System, including Rotors, New Calipers, new Brake Booster, junction block, Reservoir, Brake Lines Rebuilt TH700R 4 speed transmission (rebuilt by AAMCO). This truck originally came with a TH400R 3 speed NEW 31 Gallon Suburban-sized Gas Tank, NEW Steering Gear Assembly Rebuilt A/C New March CNC machined pulley system FULLY Lizard Lined Under Body for noise, heat and rust protection Fat Mat sound and heat protection, Thermozite Mats, New Center Console All new interior, including new foam, powder coated seat frames, new vinyl, new carpet, new interior paint, new gauges, custom plaid headliner and pockets All new doors and hood, rocker panel steel replaced where needed, and everything coated for rust prevention, new carpet on rear tailgate New Paint (wet sanded), new trim, new bumpers, new tow package, new tow harness + brake controller New Tires (less than 2,000 miles) New Mirrors (all) New headlights, signal, taillights, market lights Re-Chromed Badges and headlight surrounds, New Bumpers Totally Stainless bolts used throughout the build (the car will come with the extras, and ALL extra parts from the build) Is this car perfect? No. It's a 1977!!! That's part of the fun of owning a restored car that's almost 40 years old. It drives like 1970. It's got a V8 rumble. It's got the aerodynamics of a brick! It's also got a few small touches here and there that need to be finished, but nothing required by a professional. The driver seat adjustment also needs to be set up properly--it's fixed now. Otherwise, it's an awesome updated survivor that you could feel comfortable taking on a weekend trip, or all the way to Cabo San Lucas. :)
