Up for Auction is a beautiful 1966 Chevy Convertible Corvair Monza 140 HP
Yellow with Black Interior - 53K original miles - Only 2 owners!
Buyer is required to contact me within 24 hours of the close of Bid with instructions on how transaction will be completed
Deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of the close of bid via Paypal.
Balance is due in full in the form of a cashiers check or cash in person
within 3 days of the close of bid (unless other arrangements have been made).
Car was only driven on the weekends around town.
IT has only been parked in the garage since its purchase in the 1980s!!!
So it has been protected from being exposed to the elements.
ONLY Repaired and maintained by the Corvair Doctor located in Hawthorne, CA
Doc took great care of this car and all the other Corvairs that came through his shop.
Comes with Original Corvair Owners Manual and Folding Top (Power Operated) Operation & Care Manual
This car was the pride and joy of my cousin (RIP), who was the 2nd owner of this 1966 classic.
Our family would really love for this car to go to a home that will appreciate it as much as he did.

-Frame is solid, Straight and has no rust.
-Exterior Paint is in good shape- minor visible chipped paint, no visible dents or dings
-Engine starts up and runs well
-Transmission shifts smoothly
-Brakes, suspension in great shape
-Electrical is in tact and functional
-Interior and carpet is very clean and well taken care .
NOTE - I would recommend a tune up as one of the carburetors needs maintenance, a new set of tires, and a fresh paint job.

This motor vehicle is being sold AS IS with all faults, including but not limited to those described herein, as well as any other defects, whether or nor presently known or discoverable with or without inspection and operation of the vehicle.
(If applicable) If you are a California Resident intending on registering this vehicle in the State of California, AND not a Dealer, then we will provide you with either a “certificate of compliance” or a “certificate of non-compliance” along with the sale.
The California Vehicle Code (CVC) 24007 (b) (2) issued in accordance with section 44015 of the Health and Safety Code, states that buyers can be presented with a certificate of compliance or a certificate of non-compliance (that has been issued within 90 days) before or at the time of sale. This will allow buyers to pay the registration fees and tax then transfer the car into their name at the DMV and provides them with 90 days of temporary registration from the time the certificate of non-compliance was issued for the vehicle, thus allowing the buyer time to repair the vehicle and bring it into smog conformity. This vehicle will be delivered with a Purchase Order, Bill of Sale, Smog (if applicable and stated), Warranty (if applicable) and 1 Key. This is all the paperwork you will receive. Verify with your state if this is sufficient to register the vehicle in your state, as it is all you will receive. Should you require additional paperwork, it is your due diligence as the buyer to contact the DMV and acquire all necessary documents.
If sale is not completed, I reserve the right to place a Non Paying bidder alert with Ebay. I retain the right to refuse bids from ebay buyers with substantial negative history or limited/no history. Winning bidder must contact me with 48 hours of auction close to inform me as to how sale will be completed. Transaction must be completed within 3 days of auction close unless otherwise discussed and item will be returned to the auction block.
