This is a beautiful frame off restored 1963 Split Window Corvette. There are few cars as iconic as a Split Window and there are none as stunning as one dressed out in laser black with knock off wheels. Although the original color to this one is tan. When I bought this car a few years ago I was told by the owner that it was an original fuel-injected car. He had a rebuilt a 327 motor with a correct 1963 fuel injection unit on the engine.. I bought the fuel injected engine with the car and it is my desire to sell it with the car. I have the paperwork on the rebuild, but it is not a date coded 327 for this corvette. I cannot confirm or guarantee that this is a real fuel injected corvette, nor do I know if the fuel injection unit functions correctly. Of course, the engine in the car is not the original engine either, but it runs so good I didn't want to take it out. The car also has power steering and power brakes. The interior of the car is beautiful and everything works except the clock has been finicky and just recently the gauge lights flicker (the switch is failing). Even the glove box light and radio work. The black paint is near mirror quality, but it does have some spider cracks in several places and one actual crack on the lip of the driver's fender. The body has been off the frame and there are no issues with rust. Even though the restoration was done some years ago you will be hard pressed to find a nicer Split Window. I am reluctantly selling this car to fund another corvette purchase. The price of the car includes the extra rebuilt 327 with the fuel injection unit or if you would like to make an offer it can be sold without the fuel motor.
