For sale is an 1963 Split Window Corvette Coupe, one of the most iconic Post War American cars. It has been stored since the late 1970's, and I bought the car about 10 years ago planning on restoring the car. Unfortunately time moves faster than anticipated, and I have have reached the tender age of 76. The car was originally red, and sometime ago was painted black. It has been mostly stripped and is ready for the restoration process. From the cowl back, the body has been surfaced and properly gapped to show quality standard. All of the trim parts are present and accounted for. They are in excellent condition. There are several indications that it was once originally a fuel injected car. I do not have the fuel injection unit. The dash, center console and rear interior carpet are in excellent condition. The door panels are off of the car, but in great shape. The headlight cans are metal, and in excellent condition including the motors. They are not original to the car. The VIN number is 30837S106121.
Engine has the correct casting numbers, but apparently the block has been decked. It is a high horsepower engine, judging from the 2.5 inch exhaust manifolds and a 6500 rpm tach. The odometer shows 37580 miles. Has a town and country AM/FM radio. Muncie 4 speed manual transmission.
