1956 Chevy 2 Door Custom
The black beauty
I have an antiquity company in the middle of Texas. We specialize in fine antiques and collectibles. Once in a while my customers turn in a classic automobile or motorcycle.
This is one of those items:
We received this beautiful and gorgeous 2 door classic Chevy from an enthusiast car collector’s estate. The owner named her "The Black Beauty". (We also received a 1966 GTO from this estate which will be posted in the next two weeks;the GTO needs restoration.)
But this Black Beauty doesn’t need anything. It can be a daily driver as it comes with a 350 crate engine, turbo automatic transmission, front disc brakes, power steering, and power brakes, etc.
The car has been lowered very little and has 215/60R15 tires in the front and wider 245/60R15 tires in the back. It is extremely fast and reliable.
You can cruise at 80 miles an hour with no problem. We took a video of the car while I drove it.
The car was done correctly with a complete ground up restoration several years ago. It is absolutely rust free and underneath is as clean as the top of the car.
The interior by itself is a work of art. It has black seats with red flames. All the chrome is in outstanding perfect shape with no damage or tarnish. I drove it last week to Austin and back and had absolutely no problem what so ever.
It has an aftermarket stereo system with an antique look so it blends in well. There are three late model gauges under the dash that show the oil pressure, and engine temperature, etc.
All you have to do is put gas in it, drive it, and enjoy it, as it just had an oil change and tune up. I also have several videos of the car while it is running. I can send the video to you via e-mail or text.
The car comes with a clear title. I’ve made the explanation of the car short as the pictures will tell the story of how great this car is.
All the inspections must be done before the auction closes.
Remember that this classic car is 60 years old. Please remember that things always look better in pictures. So you are more than welcome to come see it in person.
Your bid is your contract. Please place bids only if you are serious about buying the item. If you are the winning bid, you are entering into a legal binding contract to purchase the item.
We require a $300 non-refundable deposit immediately after the bidding closes and the remaining balance within a week. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. The car will be sold as is, with no warranty or guarantee.
We reserve the right to cancel any bid for excessive negative feedback. And I may also advertise it locally.
