1959 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3200 Description

Beautiful Rare Original Chevy Apache 3200…Solid USA Steel, with classic curves, and style. Own a piece of American history! ***I Have Over $18,000 Invested***…it’s going to be a bargain for some lucky someone .99cent Opening bid and SUPER LOW RESERVE!I've had this restored back to it's original look, with a complete "bed off" paint job in original color, Galway Green, with gold/black interior, beautiful new green/white vinyl seat cover, and white accents. Riding on a brand new set of classic Coker whitewall tires on original steel rims, and stock chevy hub caps. This truck would make a great show truck, business advertisement, photo shoot prop, or weekend cruiser that will turn heads and get thumbs up wherever you go!
Body was taken down to metal, all rust (only a few spots) through was cut out and sheet metal patched, top grade aluminum bondo, 3 coat paint/clear coat professionally done ($4,900 paint job!..notice the pictures are close up…this is not a 10 footer...it looks great up close)...All glass has been replaced and weather stripping, gaskets, rubber, chrome surround front windshield, new head liner, sun visors, Optima Red Top battery, New oak bed, sides done in 2 coats of POR15 bed liner…All the hard work has truly been done, and done right! She has the original legendary strait 6 cylinder 235 engine, that I'm told, was rebuilt about 3yrs ago. Starts right up, runs great, doesn't smoke or burn oil. It has the original 3 speed (3 on the tree) manual column shift transmission, had a clutch replacement about 10k ago, shifts smooth. I don't know a lot about the mechanicals but, you are free to come and take a look at it and evaluate the truck yourself or with a mechanic. Call Darell 512.8447457 or email through Ebay to set up a time to see. It starts right up and goes down the road strait and performs well for a 57 year old truck. I have video of it starting/running/driving but, for some reason it’s not letting me post links here? I’m happy to send those to anyone interested. My original intent was to redo everything. . .but because of this truck's originality I've decided to keep it in tact and sell as is, to preserve it’s investment value.
For you purists out there, the original tires were solid black, so I added the coker wide white sidewalls, as an "upgrade", and the bed steps were galway green and I made them white for accent. The original seat was solid black, maybe I should have stuck with that, but I thought the green and white was another good "touch".. . ..otherwise this is how it looked when it was driven off the showroom floor nearly 60 years ago!
Plan extra time wherever you go in this, because people with want to take pictures and talk about it.
