1965 Chevrolet Caprice Description

Here is your chance to own the only one of it's kind anywhere!!! Most enthusiasts know that Caprice was first offered in mid-year1965, but the only body style in that introductory year was a four door hardtop version. Production two door versions of Caprice cars were not pushed to the dealers until the following year. This is a complete custom built '65 coupe. Three cars were used in the construction of this black beauty. This Caprice is a multiple major show winner and you could be the envy at your next car show or cruise-in driving it. Equipped with the powerful 396-325hp MK-IV big block, TH400 automatic transmission, and 12-bolt GM rear, this gem means business. Triple black arrangement screams top of the line elegance for Chevrolet. Black body, black factory vinyl top, black interior. Has the bucket seats and console too. Fold down center arm rest for the rear seat was a Caprice feature in1965 only and this car has a perfect example of one installed. Fully instrumented additions includes quad-guage console package, and factory tachometer. Power steering, power brakes, factory air conditioning, tilt-telescoping steering column, factory rear window defogger and factory AM/FM radio. 15*7 Chevrolet rally wheels with Goldline radial tires. The engine has ALL of the correct and completely functional AIR pump and tubes which were installed for those big block cars in California. The main shell body is a Southgate, CA GM unit. The factory photo featuring GM executive Semon" Bunkie" Knudsen with the brand new Caprice is authentic and not photoshopped. This one-off custom is being offered at far below it's construction costs. The car is legally registered in FL as a 66 car with legal VIN and clear title as that was the chassis used in this custom build. The remainder of the other two cars used during the construction project were discarded. Additional photos available upon request, and please don't hesitate to ask questions that you may have. Dealers and collectors are, of course, welcome to bid BUT please no solicitors that want to help me sell it, like national vehicle marketing program. Im just not interested in those types of services. Also, this custom show car had been agressively priced to sell. Please dont pitch rediculous low-ball offers and lastly no trades will be considered.
