1960 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description
1960 Chevy Biscayne or Bel Air not Impala, Former drag car, mostly converted back to street car. Still needs wiring and full exhaust, was a stick car but currently has a powerglide, still has pedal assembly and some linkage, current small block (305 I believe) looks good but is tired and burns oil. Body is generally solid but has had work on the lower edges and a partial rear quarter on the pass side (now molding mount holes do to the panel replacement), has been painted a matte teal color, was orange as a drag car. Jams are painted black but you can see the orange. floors and trunk have been patched, looks like replacement floor pans we pretty much laid in from above over the rusted floor areas. frame is exc. Interior is very good, nice seats, carpets and headliner, nice dash also. Glass is good all around, minor chip in windshield. Much of suspension and brakes have been rebuilt. Dual master conversion has been done. My intention was to build a Nostagia Super Stock or Gasser not a show car or stock restoration but since then I have purchased another former drag car, a 57 Chevy wagon with a blown small block and a 4 speed, now I need to sell one of them. For an additional $5000 I would sell my fresh 355 small block with new 671 blower, dual quads "carbs to pan" as I am thinking of going with a vintage tunnel ram instead of the blower. Or sell the complete 57 wagon for $20k. 60 Chevy runs, drives, steers and stops but will need complete exhaust and light wiring to be streetable. Note the one vintage alloy does not come with car, was on the car for test fit purposes, will have matching chrome rally wheel. Car is currently at my house in Maine but can be brought back to Wakefield, MA. 01880 for shipping purposes as it will be cheaper to most places, so use 01880 to quote shipping. Also NOTE: COMES WITH BILL OF SALE ONLY, THERE IS NO CATEGORY FOR THAT ON EBAY, SO I SELECTED CLEAR TITLE.
Inspections are encouraged and if you pick up the car in person and are not satisfied with the condition as described in the listing I will refund your money, no harm. Although if the car is shipped it is obviously a final sale. Any questions email, text or call Mark 617-538-7970
