1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS Description

This is a true '138 SS' car being only 1 of 5,075 (lowest number produced) '65 Super Sports to have the factory color ('PP' Evening Orchid). Body was painted brown(???) back in the '80's hiding the original color. It's powered with the original numbers matching L30 327/250hp engine with a rebuilt Turbo 350 trans. Original Power Glide transmission is included. Rear end is 12 bolt with 3.31 gears. Car is equipped with cold factory air-conditioning that was recently restored including new evaporator, drier and condenser. PS,PB, stock exhaust manifolds, tinted glass, dash pad, factory gauges, white bucket seat interior, console, rear antenna, newer tires, American Racing wheels and original 'SS' wheel covers. Complete new front suspension including coil springs. New body mounts, brakes and heater core. Doors and hood open/ close with ease. Trunk lid is a bit tight due to new seal. Original bumper jack is included with spare tire in a very solid trunk. Previous owner stated left rear 1/4 pnl had patch pnl installed. There is no visible outer body corrosion. Included new items for car are complete white headliner kit, correct SS door pnls (frt and rear), speedo/odo gauge, quartz clock, dash bezel, push button AM radio, and assy manual. With the car having the rarest color, matching numbers drivetrain, cold factory air and being a true SS, this is THE car to restore!!
