1958 Chevrolet Corvette Description

You are looking at a 1958 Chevrolet Corvette unfinished project. It has a (NOM) 283 2x4-barrel engine. We were told it was rebuilt, but I would want to have it checked before using it. It has a 4-speed Borg Warner transmission. There is no wiring, so the car does not run or drive. It has had disc brakes added to the front. It has a great body that doesn't appear to have had any accident damage, but does have a new inner fender panel. It has had an amateur repaint that isn't very good, but could be sanded down and repainted. It has all the gauges but they have not been restored, so not sure if they are operable. The car has a new white convertible top and interior (except seat covers). The seats are not original 58 seats. They fit, but we are not sure what they are from. It has a new fuel tank. All of the chrome and stainless is included and 90% is either: restored, rechromed, or new. The car will come with many new parts like a new set of Coker Classic tires, weather-stripping, door handles, package tray trim and insert, headlights, headlight trim bezels, turn signals, rear tail light assemblies, door sills, door plates, bumper brackets, and many more parts. The car will need a new windshield. The car and frame are solid with no signs of rust anywhere. However, the frame has been altered for side or some kind of aftermarket exhaust system. The frame can be used as is for a driver or resto-mod car, but if you wanted to restore the car to factory perfect or have it judged by NCRS or Bloomington, you would want to change it. I do have another bare frame in great shape that is available for an additional fee. The car has a clear Arkansas title that matches the correct VIN tag. This car would make a good driver as is, or a resto-mod candidate or restoration project. We are a Corvette restoration shop and could finish this car as either a resto-mod or original type build for the buyer. If you would like to discuss a restoration or custom build, please give us a call at479-236-9012. The car will be available anytime during the auction for inspection. There are no written or implied warranties. We reserve the right to end the auction at any time. All payments must be made within 7 days of auctions end and all payments must be made with bank certified funds, wire transfer, or cash in person. If you have any questions or would like to see more photos, please let us know. Thanks for looking.
