Winner of multiple show awards. 350 cid (L48), 175 horsepower (net), 43,185 miles, well maintained with full documentation including original Canadian build sheet, original bill of sale, vehicle background, maintenance/mechanical records, and show history with trophies!
Tail light and head light bezels are not correct/original as they are chrome, not black. Original owner upgraded to a dual exhaust. Paintwork to driver door and rear quarter panel. Small portion of glass near quarter panel also not original.
GM began building the limited edition "Heavy Chevy" model midway through 1971. Production ended in 1972 with 9,508 total units built. Up for auction is an original Canadian made Flame Orange Metallic "Heavy Chevy" and is especially rare, as only 870 were produced at the GM Plant in Oshawa, Ontario. In addition, just 512 units came with this particular dress package. This 175 HP "Heavy Chevy" is highlighted by a special black grille, domed hood with lock pins, special side striping and 14"x6" rally-type wheels with special center caps. 350 cu in V8 Turbo-Fire 307 engine, vinyl interior, hide-away wipers, engine block heater, H.D. suspension, power steering, Orson AM/FM radio with cassette player, rear seat speaker and auxiliary lighting, 3.31 rear axle ratio and bench front seat. Includes business card of salesman who originally sold the vehicle.
