1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Heavy Chevy Decal trim added Description

1972 Coupe, I inherited this car from a dear friend who passed away 3 years ago. He had started it years ago, frame off, did a lot of the mechanical and frame, body work, and had asked me to help him complete it. He passed away 3 years ago, so I worked on, completing it to where it is now with a resto mod look as the "Heavy Chevy"...Partial list of what I completed it with: 496 Big Block chevy stroker, built by a local drag car race builder, roller cam, roller rockers, Brodix aluminum heads, etc.... estimated at 600hp by Brodix with a racing carb. I put a 750 electric choke Summit racing carb for the street.Turbo 400 rebuilt with shift kit and 3200+ stall.... makes it quick on the street. 12 bolt rear end (not limited slip). SS control arms added to differential. New shocks and balanced driveshaft. Edelbrock Victor Jr high rise manifold. HEI distributor.
All new brakes, bearings, bushings, springs etc on frame, new tank, stainless brake and fuel lines, Holley Red fuel pump, vacuum pump assisted power brakes, power steering. LED tail/stop lights. Trunk mat 'chevy emblem'. And for you Chevelle experts, those are 1971 parking lights and bezels...I like them better than the 72 versions... and painted to match the car to enhance the blacked out grill that the Heavy Chevy came with...
American Thunder Flowmaster duals, ceramic coated headers. Engine accessories include March Pulley serpentine system, Vintage Air polished compressor, aluminum radiator and fan assembly.Interior is all new, Painless wiring harness, Custom Auto sound 'vintage' am/fm stereo and 4 speaker system, Classic Instruments SS gage cluster (electronic speedo), Ididit tilt column/custom steering wheel.17" Crager wheels on Goodyear Eagle GT rubber.
Vintage Air Mark IV direct fit heat and air system (electronic, no vacuum required).
Power windows on all 4 windows. Kick panel speakers up front, 6x9 in rear.
Viper Red Paint (Dupont), was put on before I received the car to finish... I added the ''Heavy Chevy" graphics from Phoenix Graphicsto give it a unique true classic Chevelle look.... Only 9500 approximately were produced as Heavy Chevys in 1972, so this is a tribute to that era and look...not a true Heavy Chevy, but better than original. I do have a set of 5 of the original steel 15" SS wheels powder coated black with tires if you prefer those instead of the 17" Crager mags on it currently...call me to discuss if you want the other set...
This is a great, fast running car...ready for the road...call me for any details etc...501-589-5000...I am retired, and build cars for a 'hobby job' and have done so most of my life... have 6 other projects I'm working on, so this one needs to go to a new home...no trades please... cash talks as always, so make an offer...
Car is for sale locally and in other sale sites, so I reserve the right to sell and cancel this ad on ebay at the time it is sold... Transportation is up to buyer, but I can deliver the car within 100 miles of my home after payment is finalized... I have a clear Arkansas title and can furnish a bill of sale also if needed... thank you for looking.
