1981 Chevrolet El Camino primer Description

I am listing this "like a Rock" solid 1981 El Camino for a good friend of mine . He has been a body man for over 40+ years . No, unfortunately he is battling the Freekin "C" word and is not able to complete this sleeping beaut, and it needs a new home . We don't know the complete history of i, but it most definitely is NOT from Ohi, the rust capital of the country . The body and frame are in great shape . Nothing in the wheel well, rocker, fenders quarters . Just the normal little dings that are to be expected from use. It does have a spot on each side about where the back of the seat is that needs patched on the floor . thats it ! The passenger side door and quarter panel are all thats left to finish before new paint . Oh yea, the factory tailgate CRATER has been eliminated too . Makes the rear of these things look 100% cleaner . The title states about 20,500 ACTUAL miles . Take that with a grain of sal, but thats what it says. The engine is a 1968 32, with the double hump-camel heads . Possibly a mild cam too . Runs great ! The engine appears to be gone through recently too . The block is clean as can b, and the freeze plugs are spotless . The heads looked spotless when he installed the chrome covers . Don't let the 2 bbl fool ya . It has an automatic trans that shifts just fine . It has an aftermarket transmission crossmember on it to make proper room for the full dual exhaust . The factory interior is sho, but he purchased a red interior that is in good shape . Door panel, sea, carpet . another tilt column too. It has a nice set of Weld Wheel Draglites with good rubber . All the body work so far has been sealed up with PPG NCP Urethane primer. There is VERY little work that needs completed before paint . A gallon of silver base coat goes with it too. It is for sale else wher, so we reserve the right to end the auction at any time. If we receive a reasonable offer . We could arrange a buy it now if the offer is right. The Camino is located in 44614 Zip code If you want to see it in perso, It can be arranged . If you have a questio, ask before the end of the auction . Thanks for looking and bidding . God Bless our Presiden, and God Bless Our Troops If you won't stand behind the, STAND IN FRONT OF THEM !!!!!!
