1986 Chevrolet Blazer Description

I am selling my original 1986 M1009 CUCV, K5 Blazer. It has a 6.2 Diesel engine. It is a great running truck with a tremendous amount of torque and is awesome off road. It will easy run 70mph down the highway and if you keep it to about 55- 60mph you can get around 20mpg pretty easy. This has been an outstanding truck and runs great and just needs some minor rust repair but aside from that it is in great shape. I posted a picture of the worst spot which is the passenger side rocker panel. The Blazer has a very, very slow oil drip coming from the rear main seal( not a big deal and very common for these old trucks) and its got a anti-freeze leak which started over winter. The anti-freeze leak could be a very minor issue or it could be ready for a new radiator (though the radiator looks like it's still in great shape) but I have not had time to throughly check it out. It also has two brand new group 31 Interstate batteries with 950cc each. They are the two most powerful batteries I could find to put in it. This Blazer always fires right up without any problems. It has two brand new AC Delco oil cooler lines. The interior is in great shape for its age but does have some wear (I have pictures if you want to see) and it has a nice new dash top. I also have new, still in the packages all the weather stripping, squeegees and sweeps for all the doors, windows and new inner and outer weather stripping for the topper, I have not had time to install them. The Blazer has been converted to manual glow plugs and push button start (but you still have to have a key to start it), this is vastly superior to fragile factory setup because it bypass the glow plug card that is usually prone to failure. The four wheel drive works great with no issues, I've used it many times. It has a high quality engine block heater that guarantees it's always started for me even on the coldest of days. All the gauges work with the exception of the fuel gauge; it is not accurate. It has a really nice stereo/CD player installed that sounds great. There are no holes in the floorboards or rust, they are in excellent shape as you can see in the pictures, they are only dirty. The whole truck is very solid with very little rust. There are a few other minor spots on the body that need repaired (the worst is the rocker panel in the picture) and that's it. It is in need of new exhaust. It has 33" tires with a lot of tread left. It is a fun truck to drive and it gets a lot of attention. I drive it everywhere and would not be afraid to drive it across the country. In the summer you can remove the topper very easily (doesn't weigh much) and is a blast to drive!! Ive always used it as a part time daily driver and full time hunting truck. THIS BLAZER IS IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION COMPARED TO MOST any around it at similar price; most you'll find are rust buckets. All the blackout switches work as they are supposed to but the center grill light needs a new light bulb. This truck is also EMP proof so would make a great bug out vehicle as well. I drive it all the time so the miles are subject to change. I'm also including a CB radio, break synchronizer, that I never got installed yet. Please email me with any questions you have or for additional pictures. Thanks
