Bel Air 4 Door

Private party has decided to part with their totally restored 55 Chevrolet Bel Air 4 door. Car went through a frame off restoration in 2002 and has only clocked 1500 miles on the odometer attending local cruise nights. Always garage kept.

Everything on this Chevy was taken off and redone. Frame is stock, but power comes from a 1978 Chevrolet 350 c.i. truck engine which has headers, aftermarket intake, and Holley carb.

Stopping power comes from power brakes (disc front; drum rear). Steering is still manual.

Owner is selling for personal reasons.

BODY & PAINT

Started with an almost rust-free car, only “body work” was above the headlights and a small section on the driver’s side rocker panel.

Color is a 1956 Chevy Nassau blue in 2-stage urethane

All chrome was either re-plated or replaced.

Glass is original.

Stock 1978 Chevrolet 350 c.i. truck engine (4-bolt mains)

Edelbrock intake manifold

650 cfm Holley Carburetor

Headers

After market radiator, no overheating issues.

400 turbo automatic transmission, rebuilt with a shift kit.

INTERIOR

Re-upholstered to stock pattern and material

Aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette player

B&M shifter

Sun tachometer.

New headliner and rubber trim

SUSPENSION & DIFFERENTIAL

Stock 1955 Chevrolet suspension rebuilt with new bushings, wheel bearings, and brake hardware.

Stock rear differential w/3.23:1 gears (open).
