1973 Chevy window van w/ hi top - Looks nice - Doesn’t run - Chevrolet G20
1973 Chevrolet G20 Van Description
Selling off our van project! Body is pretty good, does have some rust and could use a new seal around the raised top. Has one orginal back seat, not bolted down. Has the original slide out top bed with cushions and all the doors and windows work well. Has a full set of curtains, most of themvery old and still whole and still quite good and effective. Tow bar currently bolted to the front bumper is included. Known problems besides the engine problem mentioned above in the condition description (please read) are that the driver’s side window crank lost the round black handle, which is included and has been temporarily replaced with a plastic knob, and the sliding door, which works perfectly, has a non-working lock. Finally, the rear view mirror fell off and cracked, but it is included. Alll the exterior parts, indicators and mirrors, etc. are good. Four matching white rims and caps... interior was all stripped out, bare metal now. Spare tire and mount included. Short style front seats have a couple of tears but are pretty nice. Engine cover is good, dash and steering wheel are excellent. Odometer has only 5 dials and reads ~19,000 and it may be true, this van spent almost 20 years sitting out of the elements with next to no use according to the previous owner, but this can’t be verified and it may be more, like 119,000... not even sure how many owners it had previously, if we are the third owner or more. Clean title, currently registered and inspected in NY state. Local pick up only. Happy bidding.
