All original Chevy pickup, actually a C20, but Ebay doesn't give that option
1967 Chevrolet C-10 Description
This 1967 C20 (not a C10, but Ebay did not give me the option for C20) 3/4 ton pickup had its clutch go out in 1989. The original owner stuck it in his barn, until someone bought it about 10 years later, when it sat in another barn for the next 20 years waiting for me to buy it. I got it, and started to look it over. Bought a new ignition switch and lock cylinder because the original key was long gone. Hooked up a wire that had fallen off the starter, stuck the fuel line in a gas can, put in a battery, gave it a couple pumps and it started up. But, yes, the clutch seems to be out of it.The truck also has no brakes. The master cylinder is dry, probably would need a whole new brake system, but you might get lucky. I didn't get that far.It is probably 99.9% original. There's the new ignition switch, i put a dimmer switch on it, there's a newer radiator hose on it and the connector to the starter appears to be the only things that weren't there when it drove off the lot in 1967.It being original, also means there is plenty of rust too. Rocker panels are gone. I do have a set if you're interested, but been laying in the garage forever, so no idea what brand they are. There is a pretty big hole behind the passenger side of the seat in the floor. I'd recommend replacing the trailing arms in the back as well, but that's standard for old Chevy pickups a person pulls out of a barn. It will need restoration. But it is a very good base to get a restoration started. I imagine with just a few weekends laying under it, you could be driving it around while fixing it up.I don't know the condition of the gas tank. I'd probably replace that too. There's another one in the bed of the truck. Don't know if it's any better or worse.Allegedly this is a 3-owner truck with the second owner taking it home and that's about as far as he got...but that's as far as I'm getting too.Truck is located in Montrose, Iowa. Willing to deliver for $1 a mile within about 200 miles of Monstrose, Iowa. The truck does run:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvrXmSn2_7MFeel free to come check the truck out before bidding or asking for more pics or asking more questions if interested in something in particular. All in all it is a cool old truck that has a ton of potential. Sold as is.
