1971 Chevrolet C-10 Description

Hi folks, thank you for looking at my 5 year over the top 1971 C-10 project. First, I started with a close mentor’s C10 that he drove and enjoyed for many years. This was a very solid automobile from the start with little to no rust, but I wanted something that would be Barrett Jackson quality. Since it was an original Hugger Orange and White, AC and disk brake truck, I made the investment I went over the top with this build. I completely dissembled the vehicle all the way down to the frame and started new again. This is just a partial list of new parts totaling $55,285:

All new steel minus the original cab of the truck.

Fenders ($500)

Doors (complete inside and out including glass, rubbers, and inside parts (unless something was better factory then aftermarket) and then added sound proofing so doors close like a new Mercedes). ($1000 each)

Hood ($500)

Complete New Bed including all stainless steel hardware (The paint underneath the bed is nicer than most show cars overall finish. ($4000)

NEW Bumpers, lights, wiring harness etc ($1000)

NEW LS3 480 HP Chevy Crate engine, hoses, and all accessories ($10,500)

New Upgraded Wiring Harness ($875)

New 4 way disk brake kits, with slotted rotors and all new brake lines throughout Trans lines, hoses, etc. ($3500)

NEW CPP Spindles, drop kit, and front end parts ($1700)

Rebuilt transmission (4l80) & 373 Posi Rear. ($5500)

New Dakota Digital Dash ($900)

New upgraded 134 AC and Heater system ($2200)

New serpentine polished aluminum drive with polished alternator and brackets ($1500)

New Radiator (Hi Flo) with integrated dual electric fans ($1300)

New Aluminum Fuel Tank, pump, hardware ($1060)

All new grade 8 hardware throughout ($800)

Blasted and painted frame ($2200)

PPG Base Coat Clear Coat Finish ($10,000)

NEW Custom Hounds Tooth and Black Interior Buckets, Seat Belts, Carpet, Custom Door Panels, Visors, Etc ($2800)

New LED lighting, including markers, Headlights, etc ($950)

New “Boss” Alloy Wheels with matching New Rubber ($3400)

So anyway, as you can see just by a partial parts list, this was a serious build with no expense spared from Wild C10 Concepts. This truck will provide someone with a C-10 that can be driven anywhere with crisp AC, power steering and brakes (all the way around) and approximately 525 HP at your beck and call. Please call with any questions you might have, and I would consider an AC Cobra trade, with some cash (depending upon the car). I have just finished my truck and it only has about 40 miles on the build, but will be sold with mileage exempt because of the year of the vehicle. This is an awesome Truck so Bid with confidence, as you can see I have sold many collector cars and high end automobiles with 100 positive feed backs.Lastly, I wanted to post pics that show you the journey throughout the build so you can see the massive investment, attention to detail, and the many high end choices we used for this one of a kind restoration. The build only has 35 miles on it and I am selling the truck with "exempt" mileage as it is over 10 years old. I am interested in selling this to acquire a very clean and high end AC Cobra for my collection. Please call me at 267-767-4780 with any questions that will help you bid with confidence! Sean Please note that after the sale the vehicle will be PA Inspected so you will know you have a road worthy and safety checked vehicle.
