1970 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500 Camper Special Description

1970 Chevy C 20 Camper Specia, this is a very low mile truck with a short stor, has had 2 owners used just for camping the chassis miles are 122k miles. The engine is a 350 with a turbo 400 transmission that are out of a 1979 Chevy motor home that had only 35, the barn fell in on the motor home so they pulled the engine and transmission and put in this truck last fall. I have a statement of facts on the engine story. This clean truck would be a great start on that hard to find HD truck. The body is in great condition less 3 very small dings on the bed and a ding in the tail gate ( cover would handle it ) replaced the driver pan it had a small area by heal so we replaced it and the right side rocker was replaced, started to sand down for repaint but decided it looked great in satin white so instead of paint it is paint ready but man I really like the satin white on this truck but if you want to 2 tone it or change it is real close to paint ready. Check out how nice the body lines are and the molding are all nice but maybe the rear tail light bezels.All the glass are clea, could use new felt on window, the door seal aren't bad but could use replace, just passed safety inspection less than 300 miles ago. The engine runs strong but I think it has the original car, that is not set up for manual choke so maybe a new- used carb would be in order runs great after a warm up, trans shifts just like it should for a low miler. The original bed wood is bad so I put in new 3/4 ply wood with vinyl should work good. The gray interior is out of a 90s Chevy with the factory carpet and padding which keeps noise down ( has hole where 4x4 shift was at now covered wit carpet mat.You will receive the stock seat also (green) The steering wheel needs to be replaced but I didn't want to waste the money not knowing if new owner would want stock or aftermarket. so there are some choices left for the new owner. Has cheapo stereo. Factory tinted glass. The tires are 265/75/16 and are serviceable. This truck runs down the road with no funny noises or rattles was taken care of in it's almost 50 years.
