Sometimes the old adages "Less is more" and "Let the pictures do the talking" ring true. Probably just the mention of a MATCHING NUMBERS DRIVELINE L72 is enough.
My 1966 Corvette Sting Ray Roadster (convertible)is a formidable performer that looks fantastic, offeringan awesome and somewhat rarecolor combination, knock-off wheels, Gold line tires and side pipes. Is it worth the asking price? I think so but you be the real judge. Dealers are selling them for up to $55k more! And then you have to pay "used taxes" when dealing with most DMV's. I am a private party!
It's been repainted in its original color of Nassau Blue (code 976) and has a matching interior of Medium Blue Vinyl (code 418) with a white soft top. It has 73,400 miles showing on the odometer. I believe they are original but can't confirm. The bulk of the restoration has taken place within the last 500 to 1,000 miles. The car has seen little road time in more than 5 years.
The Vette is a performance monster exemplified: No power steering, no power brakes, no air conditioning, no power windows,no hardtop. Nothing to rob horsepower from this brute.
I have the original protecto plate and volumes of documents, binders and restoration receipts. All hard copies.
Here are the options:
