1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Cone Description

I have a clone z28 camaro need to move on out so I can get on with my other car for sale(1971 Galaxie 500) which should be ready to go in February. Nice clean car as you can see from pics.I have many more pics but this is the limit for Ebay. I can send more, if needed by email request. The car has a/c and heat but not hooked up. I had a stopping point for fixing up this car, actually went past it because of mechanical necessity. It is a rebuilt motor from a year ago, have around 1500 miles driven since built. Driving limited due heat and air not hooked. The sbc that was in it did not align with bolt holes on the big block for a/c. It needed new hoses & receiver/drier anyway, so I put it off. I have the old compressor, it was still working good, if winner wants it. It has been in my parts room about 2 years. The short block is a 75 truck block, that I had vat at machine shop and honed the cylinders, checked the align bore and fluxed. Everything was good. I had parts for reassemble in my parts room. The rods and caps had already checked out. steel crank was good at 010. sealed powers rings & clevite bearings were used with TRW pistons. New double timing chain and gears. New High volume Melling pump. New one piece rubber seal for pan. The heads has comp. springs to 600 lift. October I bought new Summit Cam and lifters. Lift is 540 with 1:7 rockers. 520 with 1:6 rockers.I installed 1:5 rockers which gave it 508 lift. The heads are 1969 427 oval port with mild port and polish and 3 angle cut on valves. Runs just fine on pump gas. I had to cut some of the hood to fit the holley dominator. I did not cut braces as I wanted to reuse the original scoop. It has air gap manifold as shown. Also included in sale. Assault high rise manifold with Edlebrock 650 carb which works fine.Cleaned underside really good and has no rust to contend with. Trunk clean, no rust, painted it 2 years ago. Have pics. I had car painted about 3 of years ago and over the change in seasons, guessing, the clear coat faded dark and light on top. See pic. It will have to wet sanded and shot again or you can drive as is. Rebuilt mini torque starter, new summit racing sfi approved hd flexplae. Also, end of October, New summit 2000 stall converter and complete rebuild T350 trans with stage two kit in June. 4 core alum radiator flushed & pressure tested. tranny cooler and twin 12in fans. Dropped gas tank, cleaned out and install new sending unit. New battery w/warranty last September. SS headers are at least 2 years old but still look good. SS pipes from collectors to turbo mufflers with down angle over rear end housing. Rear is 10 bolt, 3:55 ratio with posi unit. works well also. Plenty rubber left on all tires. After market gauges under dash in front of shifter and big face tach mounted as shown in driver side pic. Also, installed new ATI chrome dampner as shown in pic. Interior and headline still good condition. PS need new hose. There is a 1 in. tear driver side back rest. Need new radio, never replaced. New brakes installed last summer with new drums for rear. I think that covers it, if you have questions please ask before sale. The car also has air shocks in rear with easy access to valve stem under back side of license plate. The car is street legal if interested. I have receipts for all summit parts and tranny. I would like to paint the whole car again as little chips and scratches here and there, mostly around front end from driving and working on front of car. That would be more expense in car. 10 footer easy as is. No dents in body. Described to the best of knowledge.. Nothing needs done on drive train, unless you want to change something. thanks for checking it out. If you are in neighborhood, come by. Car is also for sale locally and on craiglist. listing will be terminated if I get good offer locally. Some flex ability on buy it now. No warranty with car. If you do not want a performance car, please do not bid.

On Jan-08-18 at 09:42:15 PST, seller added the following information:

Attention bidders and all watchers. I have made a change to car and ebay will not allow me to delete one pic and add the new one. They told me to make a statement on the listing. What I did was change the air gap intake manifold and carb to the Assault intake and edlebrock carb due to insufficient vacuum outlets. As it reads in the description, I said would also include Assault intake with edlebrock carb with sale. Now, it will be I will include the air gap intake and dominator with sale. I have pic of the change if you want too see. Just email me and I will send. thanks
