1961 Chevrolet C-10 Description

1961 Chevy Apache
I brought this Apache from California when I moved to Northern Georgia 6 months ago. The truck is rust free with the exception of a couple of pin holes onthe hood near the front emblem.I still have a clear California title in my name. The truck is currently registered in Georgia.
All body panels are original to the truck. No rust repair has ever been done, or needed. The factory white patina is well protected under layers of gloss clear coat. All rockers, cab corners, floors and roof gutters are in excellent condition.
Cadillac brake lights were added to the factory short bed, a roll pan was added, and the tail gate chains were relocated inside the bed for a cleaner look. The fuel tank was also relocated to an aluminum fuel cell under the bed.
The front suspension was replaced with 1987 C10 components. (no more torsion bars).Power steering and power disc/drum brakes were installed.
The engine is a freshly rebuilt 327 with less than 3000 miles on it. The engine sounds, looks, and runs awesome!Cooling is handled by a new aluminum radiator and electric fan.Heater core was also replaced at the same time.Exhaust is routed through Hooker Headers to dual 2.5" exhaust with Flowmasters.
The Turbo 350 transmission has a shift kit installed. Its operated by a Hurst Shifter. The red button on the top of the shifter operates a line lock to the front wheels. The rear axle is a 10 bolt with new brakes and wheel cylinders. The 3;08 gearslet the Apache run down the freeway with ease.
Brand new wheels and tires. Riddler Wheels- 18x8 in front, 18x9.75 in rear.Nexen tires on all four corners.
The seathas been reupholstered with cow hide to match the patina of the truck.New black carpet was installed. All aftermarket gauges workincluding the fuel gauge and tachometer. The speedo is not working and needs a cable. The Apache has a Confederate Flag as a headliner. Its easily removed with 5 screws ifits not your style.
If your in the area, please contact me to see/drive this work of art.The Apache is located in Mineral Bluff GA. 30559. Very close to the NC and Tennessee boarder.
