1965 Chevrolet C-10 Short Wheelbase Fleetside Description

Up for your consideration is this rare 1965 Chevrolet C10 half ton fleet side short wheelbase pickup truck. What can I say about this one? This truck is an all original equipment truck that was purchased in California and spent its entire life there until 2015. The California desert climate has preserved this beauty! The previous owner shortened the coil springs and brought the exhaust out under the driver side door, other than that all original. The truck was purchased and shipped to Louisiana in 2015, where I purchased it on eBay. This truck runs and drives great! The odometer shows 10300 miles, which I am pretty certain is not correct. (These trucks only have 5 digits available in odometer) The truck is in great condition inside and out with zero rust, excluding patina. All gauges & speedometer work. No leakage into interior, all floor pans and door jambs are rust free. It needs a new bed kit, proper colored seat, carburetor rebuild, and would consider being a Rat Rod! It has the original White over Turquoise paint. It looks amazing. Has brand new big white wall tires with original baby moons. This is an original manual 4 speed “Granny” transmission with an original 292 Straight 6.

Please take a close look at the current pictures taken on 3/17/2018 and feel free to ask all the questions you wish. This really is a very special truck that turns heads everywhere.
