1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 210 Description

1956 Chevy 210 4 door sedan. Runs and drives but needs minor work. Has very little rust in body. Paint is average with areas that have cracks and chips. Many have been touched up. Most areas are just flaking thick paint mostly in unseen areas that have been touched up. Looks good from a few feet. Inside trunk floor has surface rust but pan is still very solid. The quarters, rockers, doors, fenders, frame and floor pans all look solid. Painted in original colors years ago. Paint is thick and car was buffed out to bring back some shine. The car has a 265 V-8 that runs great with no smoke or funny noises. Carb had new accelerator pump, speedometer cable and new plugs were installed. I have a new cap and rotor, speedo plastic that needs to be installed. The engine is matched to the original 2 speed power-glide that shifts hard like all of them do. Car has alternator. Bumpers and trim under headlights have rust. Stainless on sides is in good condition some of the other chrome is tarnished some. The car has a dent on right front fender please look at pictures. Interior is acceptable but carpet is stained and metal parts could use repaint. Both front doors have cracked glass and the regulators need work. Mileage listed is not accurate due to the speedometer being broken for a while, although car wasn't driven much while it was broke. Therefore title says not actual miles. This car has no power options and was a radio delete car I believe. It has dual exhaust and wire wheels that have some rusting. Tires have some cracking due to age. I believe the motor and trans are original. Horn, dash temp gauge don't work. It has a separate temp gauge that runs normal. This car can be driven as is but is geared a little low for high speed cruising (comfortable at 55). The wipers need to be turned on under hood so the cable needs work. The car drives ok but feels like alignment or other front end work may be needed probably idler arm. No shakes or rattles or looseness in steering just doesn't handle good on back roads. Cruises down highway no problems. Blinkers and lights work fine. Some indicators are burned out on dash. Just trying to be as honest as I can. The car just needs a lot little things. Please come look at car anytime. It is also for sale locally so may be removed at any time. This is a lot of car for the asking price. Non refundable 500 deposit due immediately. Cash on pickup for balance and picked up within 10 days. I drove this car for two hours with no problems recently. Please ask any questions or come take a look anytime. Car is sold as is with all defects. Please come and inspect for yourself. I live on a hard road that a transport vehicle would have no trouble loading car for transport. I am retired so that could be scheduled at anytime. Thanks steve4105338044
