1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 210 Description

First, based on experience, bids from those with 0 feedback or other identified issues will be canceled. Two buyers not contact is not cool. If your not serious don't buy. I have decided to sell at lowest price I can accept. This car needs to get out of the weather (no longer have garage space and cover is all it gets right now). 1956 Chevy 210 4 door sedan. Runs (NO motor noises, knocking, or smoke it quiet) and drives good but needs minor work. Has only surface rust in body. Paint is average with areas that have cracks (in door jams, cowl and trunk areas) and chips on exterior. Many have been touched up. Most areas are just flaking thick paint mostly in unseen areas that have been touched up. Paint actually looks good from a few feet. Inside trunk floor has surface rust but pan is still very solid. The quarters, rockers, doors, fenders, frame and floor pans all look solid just minor rust in seam areas because its been stored outside last few months. Painted in original colors years ago. Paint is thick and car was buffed out to bring back some shine. The car has a 265 V-8 that runs great with no smoke or funny noises. Carb had new accelerator pump, speedometer cable, fuel filter, and new plugs were installed. I have a new cap and rotor, speedo plastic that needs to be installed. Still is due for oil change. The engine is matched to the original 2 speed power-glide that shifts hard like all of them do. Car has alternator. Bumpers and trim under headlights have rust. Stainless on sides is in good condition some of the other chrome is tarnished some. The car has a dent on right front fender please look at pictures. Interior is acceptable but carpet is stained, kick panels are warped, missing arm rests and metal parts could use repaint. Both front doors have cracked glass and the regulators need work or adjustment. Mileage listed is not accurate due to the speedometer being broken for a little while, car wasn't driven much while it was broke. Therefore title says not actual miles. This car has no power options and was a radio delete car I believe. It has dual exhaust, air rear shocks, and wire wheels that have some rusting. Tires have some minor cracking due to age but are still servicable. I believe the motor and trans are original. Horn, dash temp gauge don't work. It has a separate temp gauge that runs normal. This car can be driven as is but brakes need adjusting. The wipers need to be turned on under hood so the cable needs replaced. The car drives ok but feels like alignment or other front end work. No shakes or rattles or looseness in steering just doesn't handle good on back roads. Cruises down highway no problems. Blinkers and lights work fine. Some indicators are burned out on dash. Just trying to be as honest as I can. The car just needs a lot little things. Please come look at car anytime. It is also for sale locally so this listing may be removed at any time. This is a lot of car for the last price it sold for (9000 why person never contacted me is a mystery). However, I need to move this car so I'm taking highest bid so don't miss out. Non refundable 500 deposit is due immediately via pay pal. No deposit order ill be canceled. Cash on pickup for balance and picked up within 7 days. I drive this car a couple miles weekly with no issues. Please ask any questions or come take a look at car anytime. Car is sold as is with all defects (known or unknown). Please come and inspect for yourself. I live on a hard road that a transport vehicle would have no trouble loading car for transport. I am retired so that could be scheduled at anytime. Thanks steve4105338044 for questions.
THE BUDGIE CORD SEEN IN PICTURE WAS FOR A CAR COVER THAT DIDN'T QUITE FIT.
I WILL NOT EVEN RESPOND TO LOWBALL OFFERS.
