1984 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 3500 Military Description

1984 Chevrolet CUCV M1028

Amazing condition M1028! No rust un-restored body, and aside from some scratches and dings I think it would be nearly impossible to find a nicer original body on a CUCV. We have spent considerable time and money making this truck into a reliable daily driver! Has the original Dana 60 front axle with the Trac-Loc limited slip, and original 14 bolt full floater with the Detroit locker. Both axles have been cleaned and serviced!

Here’s a list of notable improvements:

Banks Sidewinder Turbo Kit

24volt – 12volt conversion including new starter

Civilian Battery Trays

6.5 Diesel fuel filter conversion

OEM cruise control (wiring not yet installed-included)

Tilt steering column

Intermittent wipers

Completely Rebuilt K-case 700R4 with converter

Completely Rebuilt original NP208 T-case

New windshield

New aftermarket door panels

New OEM door weatherstrips

New Aftermarket inner/outer door glass seals

6” Skyjacker lift kit including shocks

O.R.D. Kevlar Brake lines, steering box brace, and rear u-bolt flip kit

New Nitto Trail Grappler LT315/75R16 tires

New camo ballistic cordura seat cover w/molle accessories on the back

Custom gauge pod on dash, as well as tachometer

Entire floorboard covered in Dynamat, heat resistant padding, & HD rubber floor mat

Great stereo with amp and subs

New steering box & lines

Weathertech floor liners

New exhaust system (about a year old)

L.E.D. Offroad lights

Mint O.E.M. tailgate and hardware (M1028’s did not have gates)

Nice GemTop canopy

New O.E.M sill plates

New Autometer gauges

New O.E.M throttle cable

Manual glow plug switch

I’m sure that I’m missing some things, but you get the idea! I’m a veteran 30 year GM parts manager and a K30/V30/D30 nut! We built this truck for my adult son, and he loves it! But, he found a 1990 V30 crew cab that he can’t live without so this one has to go. I believe that the M1028's are about the hardest of the CUCV’s to find and the most desirable. I am going to include these links for those of you that would like more info on these trucks.

This truck runs great and has been daily driven 35-40 miles a day since about the first of March when we finished the transmission conversion. All of the original parts that we received with the truck as well as the original front leafs and wiring harness for the cruise control are included. The TH400 is gone! It was not original to the truck and the case was bad. We have a clean/clear Washington state title.

The fuel tank was just filled, and the engine was just fully serviced. It’s ready to go!

I reserve the right to end this auction early as the vehicle is also listed locally for sale!
