1966 Chevy C10 Short Bed Big Back Window
Sitting on 1981 Chevy C10 Chassis
Power Steering, Power Brakes, 350 SBC, 350 Turbo Trans
New Front to Rear Wiring Harness
Comes with $1,000 in New Classic Industries Parts
Truck is located in Mountain Home, Arkansas (Baxter County). Vehicle is sold “as is, where is”. No test drives (not insured). Has clear Arkansas title. Buyer is responsible for delivery. Seller will make himself available to help as needed.
Truck starts up and idles fine. Brakes are hanging up, dragging and need adjustment (I’m not a mechanic). Steering Column has slop and shifter is stiff.
Was on the 81 chassis when I got it. Body has a lot of “gunk” on it, rust, primer, old paint, etc. Will need extensive sanding for paint. Will need both lower rear cab corners replaced (have them), at least left lower-rear fender tip ( have it) and both lower doors (have them).
Glass is good on rear and sides, front windshield has long crack and needs replaced.
Was told engine is 350 with 350 trans. Have never run the numbers.
No heater or defrost.
Guy who had it before me put in a New wiring harness from front to rear. All wires have what they go to spelled out on them, nice. He also covered the front floor pan in black coating to preserve it (I believe he said he patched a couple holes, but not major).
I like that it’s a great body style, updated chassis, V8, auto, and new wiring. It is right at a point where a (non-expert, me) enthusiast could handle a lot of it. This is my project truck, but I found another truck that I’m focused on, only reason I’m selling.
Spent over $1,000 at Classic Industries on NEW (not installed) parts: Chrome Front Bumper, Bumper Bolt Set, Chrome Grille, Headlight Bezels, Complete 16 Piece Side Trim and Clips, Black Carpet Set, Black Seat Belts, Wiper Arms, Switch and Knob (need motor), Chrome Door Sill Plates, Exterior Screw Set, Taillight Lenses, (and new lower door patch panels, cab corners and front fender patch).
Thank you for taking your time to look, and if you have any questions please write.
