1956 Chevrolet Other Pickups Big Window Description

Cool Old Pickup with all the right patina!!! Short Box, Step Side Pickup. Standard shift. Open title. Vin # 3A56F00705. Miles 106239. There is no motor or tranny. It has the Dukes of Hazard Mechanic "Cooters Speed Shop" on the door, put on a long time ago. The front clip has some bondo but is real nice. The doors need some lower hinge work and alignment and have some soft spots in the bottoms. The cab corners are replaced. The floor is good, I only noticed one hole to patch. The door steps are rusty but comes with new ones. There is one soft spot in the windshield area, very easy repair and comes with new seal. The windshield has a crack. The rear window is in good shape. The drivers window has a bullet hole in the center of it but still rolls up and down, I would leave it like that. The peculiar thing about this truck is it has a GMC dash? I like the GMC dash better, I have a same color Chevy dash that can be available. The box is in decent shape. The back of the left fender is getting jagged on the bottom, and the fronts of the fenders have been patched. The bed has never been covered in steel and is a sheet of plywood now. The inner box panels are in nice shape. The truck has a clutch pedal in it. It has side motor mounts installed and had a V8 in it last. Comes with a new trans cross member. It has a 10 bolt posi rear. Comes with the hard to find correct seat for it. Anything that is not installed is in the box. Nice inner fenders, new radiator, fan shroud etc. We have open paper, a hand stamped tag and original weight tag. It has great bones to be an incredible Rat Rod.
