History: Three owner car. First owner New---1977,Second owner 1977---2012,Third owner 2012---2018 (me). This is an original California black plate car. I have many records & receipts going back several decades.
Exterior: Body is extremely straight with great gaps and deep black paint. RF nose has had minor damage and repaired professionally to original condition, all the original bonding strips on car are intact. All chrome and SS trim pieces are in great condition.
Interior: The seats and headliner have been recovered, carpets replaced. Console restored, All gauges work as they should, speedometer & clock have been refurbished. Dash Pads & door panels are original and are in good condition.
Mechanicals: The engine runs extremely well and has very few miles since rebuild, it is a NOM but period correct, Crane cam, Comp Cams SS roller rockers, 10.5 to 1 pistons, New Polished Alum. PML valve covers, New Pertronix ignition, New Vintage air polished alum. front runner system (only/needs VA evap kit), New De Witt alum radiator w/dual elect fans, runs cool (180-90) even in parades, has Sweet Thunder side exhaust, KH Knock off Wheels (not after market), All suspension parts & brakes new, under car detailed.

The second owner decided after many years of ownership to make this fantastic midyear into exactly the car he always wanted--a mean Black/Black Big Block coupe. He sourced all original correct parts to do the conversion and was up front about it being born with a small block.
The engine block #3855961 is a '65-'66 396, the heads are '69-'70 #3964290 oval port, the intake is a '69-'70 alum Winters snowflake (Polished),transmission is period correct Muncie M20 casting # 3888510, and rear end is a 3:36 original to the car. The suspension was changed to F41 spec w/front & rear stabilizers & KYB shocks. The dash gauges were changed to BB gauges, and the hood is hinged on the drivers side, and battery on passenger side. Everything looks correct and was done to a high standard.
This is a trophy winning drop dead looking / sounding (it's loud) midyear Corvette that I would drive anywhere. Featured in designer calendar.
