1963 Corvair Monza 910
1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza 910 Description
This is a car that I found in storage for the past 20 years. The car does have some rust in the floors in a couple spots, some in the front facia, front firewall, a few spots in the fenders but overall its not bad. The rocker panels on both sides are solid as is the rear floor and most of the body. It has all the original glass and trim and both are in good shape. The engine was not locked up when I purchased it so I put some oil down all the cylinders to get some lubrication down there. I pulled all the engine shrouds and cleaned all the debri out of there. I put new spark plugs, plug wires, coil, points, condensor, cap, overhauled both of the carbs with many new parts in them, changed oil and filter in engine, trans and differential. I am probable forgetting something but I just wanted to see if I could get it running. But I got the engine started and it will run but the carbs need adjustment and I would say so do the valves. It is a good start for a project car and you can get almost anything you need for parts for these corvairs. I just have two many other projects going and need the garage space. I have a video of the car running if you would like me to send it to you via text. I have a clear title for the car. I live in southern Iowa and I would deliver it for a fee within 300 miles which we can discuss upon full payment. If you have any questions please let me know.
