VERY original 1963 Corvair Monza

1963 Chevrolet Corvair Description

One of the best cars America ever built until Ralph killed it.
This 1963 shows just 21,800 miles (and some change) and the miles are absolutely believable....there is simply no wear on this car.
The car is finished in White over Red. The interior on the car is as new ! There is virtually no wear on any surface of the interior. Everything functions, lights, radio even the glove box light for cryin' out loud ! :)
Externally the car is darn near just as nice. Chrome and Glass are perfect ! There is simply no pitting or discoloration in the chrome, none.
Paint is excellent and all measures evenly at 3.5 to 4.5 microns though I will disclose that I "believe" the left fender and rear deck lid have been painted at some time in the distant past. There are a few touch up spots here and there, not many. After damn near 60 years to be expected. THERE IS NO RUST IN THE CAR.
The car starts instantly and runs well. I just replaced the fuel pump. The car tracks straight and has no excessive steering play. Brake pedal modulation and feel is as good as can be expected for the vintage.... it stops like it is supposed to...leave room :) There isn't a rattle or a squeak in the car. The transmission engages nicely and shifts well. The motor leaks a bit...they all did, they all STILL do.
These cars are ready for a surge. A perfect opportunity to get started in the addiction that is Classic Cars :) A great car for local car shows, folks love it !
