You are looking at a 1969 El Camino. The car is a real SS 396. The original color was butternut yellow with black interior.
This is not a matching numbers car. The engine is a 454 crate motor with a Hardcore BH286 cam, Edelbrock EDL-1411 750 CFM 4 barrel carb and headers. The transmission is a Muncie 4 speed M22 rock crusher with a Hurst competition plus shifter. The rear is 12 bolt w/anti sway bars, gear ratio unknown. Front brakes are disc and rear are drums.

The body work was done by Back In Time, Pompton Lakes, NJ including the new hood, doors, new OEM front fenders, new floor pan and braces (shows surface rust from long-term storage), new rocker panels, cowl repair and other minor items. Uninstalled new sheet metal includes inner rear fenders and bed deck. I have a second used rear bed part. The car needs new rear quarter panels, bed floor and a new tailgate.
I have two sets of Chrome trim plus some parts of a third set. Additional parts include new fuel tank, starter, stainless brake lines, (4) NPD C-5803-158M wheels with center SS ornament, retainers and trim rings and engine & dash wiring harness. I have receipts for all parts purchased and all body work completed. I purchased the car in 2002. It was in the process of being restored until Back in Time lost its lease and went out of business.
Also included are the Chevrolet Parts Manual for 1963-1987, the 1967 Fisher Body Manual and the 1969 Chevrolet Factory Service Manual. These were on CD and were printed on my computer.
This car has been stored in a dry warehouse This is either a restoration project or a parts donor vehicle. The vehicle is being sold as-is with no warrantees either expressed or implied. The dollies under the car are not included in the sale and will remain my property.
You or your agent may inspect this car in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts by
appointment. I have clear title to the vehicle (New Jersey title).
An initial payment of $500.00 must be made within 24 hours using PayPal. The balance is payable in cash, bank check, or certified check only and must be made within three business days of the end of the auction. If payment is by bank or certified check, the car will be held until the check clears (please allow at least two weeks). unless drawn on a bank with a local branch where the check can be verified. No personal checks. Please do not ask for any exceptions as none will be granted.
The car is and will be stored safely and securely. All shipping costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. I will not do the packing, pushing out, and securing of loads. I can help load using my forklift.
