1971 Chevrolet Vega standard Description

You are bidding on a clean little '71 Vega. The car is running a very healthy sounding and strong running 283ci engine from a 1959 Corvette! Coupled with a T-50 5 speed transmission and a V8Monza 10 bolt rear end (with a torque arm setup) - this little street cruiser rocks! It runs and drives very nicely and doesn't need anything to start driving and enjoying it! I have invested a lot of money, time and hard work in the Vega since I purchased it; some of the new parts include an Edelbrock 4 bbl carb, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, wires, aluminum radiator, exhaust pipes, Spintech mufflers and LT-1 style valve covers (and I'm sure that there are more items that I've forgotten to list, but - what a solid and slick ride!). The body is in good shape and very solid, but - obviously - it's not perfect. This little Chevy has great floor pans, but there is a small spot (about the size of an ignition key - please see the picture) behind the passenger side rear tire, that could use some repair. The paint shines up and looks ok from a short distance, but - it's not without it's fair share of little dings, dents, scrapes and scratches - and the top of the passenger side front fender IS faded, so - not perfect, but mighty darned nice for it's age! The interior is clean and doesn't have any major "issues"; carpet is a bit "tattered" under the driver's side floor mat, but the mat conceals it. The front seats are Recaros and look / feel GOOD! The rest of the interior is very stock and in mighty good shape. Tires are good and the classic Centerline wheels are nearly perfect! This car drives straight down the road with NO "ill manners" & NO cooling issues! It is definitely geared for highway cruising and NOT drag racing. All in all, it's an old Vega that has been well cared for - has held up very well and is a solid driver ready to cruise and / or "take to the next level". Health and finances necessitate the sale; please let me know if you have any questions - happy to help place this sweet cruiser with a fellow enthusiast!
