1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS Description

Why should the '69 Pace cars be the only Camaros with an awesome White and Orange paint job? This '67 is done right and looks great. You might even think that the RS grill and hideaway headlights on the earlier model look better than the later model, or that a hardtop is preferable to a convertible. For any, or all, of those reasons, this car is worth taking a look at. The classic lines of the first-generation Camaros are well known. Muscular, curving fenders creating a coke bottle shape. In the case of an upgraded RS, a simple grill with hideaway headlights underlined by a thin chrome bumper keeps things looking super clean at the front. The white paint shines brightly and would be understated in the way it carries the lights of the boulevard with it as it moves down the street, however, with those awesome orange stripes running up the cowl induction hood, it definitely grabs your attention, blowing any attempt at understatement. An RS badge appears on the grill and an SS badge on the front fender along with Camaro in script and a racing flag emblem. Chrome rocker molding is a nice complement to the white as it visually connects the wheel wells that are trimmed in chrome. The back of the car has the trunk and spoiler painted in orange, and the white rear panel has an RS gas filler cap. The stripes don't continue over the roof on this car. Nope, on this car, they go through the interior! The front buckets are leather seats that have orange pleated center sections with white borders and the rear bench gets the same color scheme. It looks sweet! Especially against the black carpeting which is the perfect canvas to paint them onto. A black 3-spoke steering wheel has an RS badge in the center and has a black dash trimmed with chrome piping behind it. The speedo and tach are directly in front of the driver with white faced gauges for fuel, oil, water and voltage mounted at the front of the center console. Just above those gauges is a digital head unit with 6x9s mounted on the package tray for your listening pleasure. There is a Hurst T-handle shifter on a chrome stalk for the manual transmission in the console which is wood grained and trimmed in chrome piping. Pop the hood and you will find a tried and true Chevy 350 that provides the go power in this car. It is topped by an air filter that lets it have all the air that it wants. A Holley carb handles the mixing duties and an Edelbrock intake distributes it to the cylinders. M/T finned valve covers look great. An HEI distributor makes sure it gets good spark while long tube headers with a Flowmaster exhaust system get the spent gasses out and make the car sound good in the process. A 4-speed trans lets you pick your gear, and Power steering along with power front disc brakes make the car nice to drive as well as assuring that you can haul it back down from speed. The car has a bit of rake to the chassis giving it a bit or attitude and it sits on Rocket Racing chrome wheels with 22560R15 tires mounted all around. A great looking car with an awesome interior to match. Come on down and check this car out.
