1969 Kingswood Estate Caprice
1969 Chevrolet Caprice Description
For sale is my 1969 Chevrolet Kingswood Estate Wagon. This car is 100% original survivor, including the red paint, the black with woodgrain interior, the 32, 235HP motor and power glide transmission. There are only 25,213 original miles on this vehicle and it shows. I bought the Kingswood in the summer of 1997 from the original owner who was a friend of the family. I drove it in the garage and its been parked there ever since. I recently brought it to my local mechanic where he updated the engine heads for modern gas and installed a new exhaust system from front to back. He also installed a complete new brake system, A new gas tank, 4 new original correct Bias Ply tires, replaced all belts and hoses using correct tower clamps, changed all fluids, buffed the original paint and detailed the wagon from top to bottom, inside and out. The body floors and frame are original rust free 1969 steel. This wagon has never had any rust repair. This Kingswood is a pleasure to drive. It starts, steers and stops just fine. Some of the factory options are power brakes, power steering, with a power rear window. It has the factory original floor mats as well. The original paint shines very well, with only a few very small paint chips that have been touched up. Everything works and functions fine. This is a very nice Kingswood Estate Wagon that is ready to enjoy, and show in any collector car survivor class meet. For serious inquires please call me, Rob at 315-278-6787. No texts please.
