The previous owner claimed they rebuilt the lower end of the engine but I haven’t opened it to inspect his claims. I can say that the Pistons looked real nice when I removed the heads and the Rochester four barrel carburetor to have them both professionally rebuilt to the original specs. This Super Sport El Camino has a very strong running engine with a great rebuilt 350 transmission with a shift kit installed that will chirp the tires, it also has a great set of BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires all the way around. The front tires: P 235/60R-15, Rear tires: P 255/60R-15. The El Camino has some rust issues in all of the normal places of an El Camino of its age. The bench seat needs to be restored/covered and it needs a new head liner installed. I had plans to restore this Super Sport El Camino as a father-son project to the original specs but time just hasn’t permitted that to happen, so my loss is your gain. I now use it as a daily driver because it runs so great and looks cool. Options : The El Camino comes with the complete original air-conditioning system that will need to be repaired, power brakes, power steering, tilt steering column, 12 bolt Posi traction rear end, sway bars front and rear, front bumper guards and a tow hatch. New parts : gas tank, gas tank straps, gas tank sending unit, Motor mounts, transmission mounts, front shocks, upper and lower front Control arm bushings and ball joints, tie rods and tie rod bushings. We also had a professional wheel alignment done to this Super Sport El Camino with a company that specializes in vintage vehicle alignments. I have $3,300.00 dollars worth of the receipts for parts/work, that go to the buyer of this vehicle. The buyer isresponsible for all of the shippingarrangements and shipping cost.I hope the information that was given for this vehicle is helpful to the buyer. My description as a general description my pictures can best describe this item so look at the pictures before bidding thanks and good luck to all of the bidders!!!!
