I originally built this to keep but, plans change. RUST FREE 1990 74Kmile Silverado Blazer. 5.7L, AT, every option available. 3.73 gear ratio.
Seeing is believing. On display at local indoor car show NOW.
NO expense spared SHOW quality body & paint job was done to it. GM Indigo Blue pearl inbasecoat / clear sandedflat & buffed. Gaps are perfect, arrow straight. Paint was peeling (original) and complete color change was performed. (it was done correctly by completely disassembling vehicle to do so). New steel cowl hood, bumpers smoothed (bolts welded in to eliminate bolt heads) & painted body color. Top was smoothed & painted body color as well (huge process), inside of tailgate is dent free. All lens clearcoated so they look new & will stay that way. Many NOS GM parts used upon reassembly (door weatherstrips, side window runs & belt mouldings, tailgate wipers & window runs, front & rear bumper impact strips, door pins & bushings, door 1500 emblems) & more)Grill & door emblem bowties were painted body color. All windows & internal mechanisms were greased / adjusted as neededduring reassembly. All stainless screws used throughout. Attention to detailis very high.Total build is documented in photos.
Tuff Country 4" lift (soft ride) front & rear springs, new shocks painted body color, steering arm, front axle truss, Hooker side stepbars, almost everything that could be unbolted waspowder coated, tinted windows, real dual exhaust 2.5", NEW tires on polished wheels (new center caps) locking lugs, rear additional back up lights on switch w/ relay added. New fuel pump / fuel gauge sending unit, new fuel filter & injectors cleaned. Underhood is very detailed (powder coated battery tray, air cleaner assy, valve covers, engine accessory brackets, radiator brackets, hood hinges, misc brackets & mounts, OEM jack & hardware, fan blade, etc...)& undercarriage was painted w/ chassis black. Original Gov-Lock in rear end self destructed one day while driving (destroying everything) so a 12-bolt from an older Blazer was installed (far better differential) but, received new bearings & seals when installed. Front differential has been rebuilt w/ Warn hubs, new u-joints, ball joints & seals. Powder coated diff covers w/ stainless bolts. Power coated axle truss, skidplates, license & bumper brackets, receiver hitch, and step bars. OEM battery cables w/ quick release on neg cable.
Interior is completely original down to cassette player (upgraded stock size speakers), front / rear GM floor mats and spare tire & cover. New windshield. Powder coated seat mountingbrackets, spare inside tire mount, sill plates and tailgate hardware.
I will ship it anywhere & I have owned it since 1999.
I am a journeyman collision / body tech & have built show cars throughout my life so I've donethis all myself.
You literally could NOT build a vehicle of this caliber for the asking price. If you factor in the cost of a VERY clean rust free, low mile original vehicle to start with, pay someone to do the body / paint, powder coating, accessories, NOS parts, etc...... It is fresh & turn key. Buy & drive or wait YEARS for one to be built.
