1969 Chevrolet Impala Custom Description

Here we have a really cool 1969 Chevrolet Impala Custom coupe. Purchased new in Kentucky, the original owner had the car until 1991. Then a family member also in Kentucky purchased the car, stored it for years and then performed a full restoration.

Restoration included rebuilding the engine, transmission and rear end. Necessary bodywork was performed and the car was fully painted along with new bumpers, new vinyl top, complete interior including carpet and headliner, and an aftermarket stereo system as shown in the pictures. I was told many new old stock parts were used during the restoration but have no way to prove it.

The paint job is very, very nice and as you can see the car looks great! It has new white wall tires and GM rally wheels. It also has a 12 Bolt Rear End and dual exhaust. The suspension is a little stiff and I would put softer springs on it if I was going to use the car on a regular basis.

Air-conditioning system functions and the compressor clicks on but it is not blowing cold. The car runs very well and was used on a recent 300 mile trip without a problem.
