68 GMC Chevy C10 K1500 truck
1968 Chevrolet C-10 Description
A pretty good start to a project. It's a GMC but I have a 67-8 Chevy grill that goes with it. A lot of the nasty work has been done. Started with a decent cab, it never had any rust in the roof like a lot of them do. Rust in the floors was patched and new rockers and cab corners installed. New body bushings were installed as well as new cab mount braces. It's on a 71 chassis with disc brakes and 5 lugs. The front suspension has had any worn parts replaced and the frame painted. There is a 350 and th350 sitting in it but I don't know the condition of them -consider them cores.A local mechanic shop owner started on this truck. He put the body on the 71 chassis and had another local bodyman repair the rusted areas. They are both reputable and the work that's been done looks good. The truck was sold to another guy who did that black rattle can job and worked on it a little before I wound up with it. The hood has a small dent in the center body line and a couple of minor dings. The doors are nice and straight, roof is nice. The dash has not been cut.
No bed. I have most of the parts for the cab...all glass minus the windshield, window regulators heater box, headlights, interior door panels etc. I'm not saying I have every last part but it's mostly there. Perfect truck to cut down the frame and buy a brand new short bed. I have a co worker that would cut it down for you for $350. He does excellent work and has done a bunch of them. I have a clear title in hand. It can sit here a little while if you need to make pickup pickup arrangements. I'll consider delivering within a reasonable distance. I'll do it cheap, but you must contact me and make those arrangements before bidding seven 8 five 6 three 9-one 4 seven 8
