1980 Chevrolet C-10 scottsdale Description
Great daily driver truck. Starts every time, reliable. I drive it to an auction 200 miles away without thinking about it. Would drive it across the country no problem.
Here is the deal. I am trying to get a house bought. Dont really want to get rid of it, good old trucks are hard to come by. No reserve, if it gets the bid, it is gone.
Has nicely faded paint. The whole truck is original, oxidized and faded. The guy i bought it from had waxed the front drivers fender, that is why it looks a little different. The light blue you see on the passenger side bed is gone now, he actually tried to spray paint the faded spot. Luckily it was cheap paint and wiped right off with thinner. I have never waxed the rest to match. If i keep it, i am going to do the patch panels, and paint them. The way it faded, you could repaint the bottom half, and still keep the awsome fade time has given her.
New transmission and clutch last month. While doing the clutch, they put new bearings,syncros, ujoint and things. New BF TA tires, still have blue on the letters. Original 8 in. rally rims. New plugs, wire, cap, rotor.
Yes, it has rust in the typical corners. It does need patch panels in the fenders and cab. Bed, gate, and side rails are super straight, rear rust in corners.
I have been slowly cleaning it up, but still needs a few things. fuel gauge not accurate. I use drivers side. Tried to use other side, and gas was dripping off of tank, needs hose.
Interior door panels are getting faded, dash has cracks. Seat top is good original, bottom needs replaced. I have the horn button.
Please ask any questions, i will gladly let you know. I have the wheel cap, just need the screws. Windshield is cracked, but if it sells, i will put a new one in it for the buyer.
