Solid Project Car, NO RESERVE!!

This car was purchased new in 1972 by my father, he was the original owner. Always well maintained but also used as a daily driver: 1972-1979 in Arizona and 1980-1997 in Western Washington. I drove it my senior year of high school 1996-1997, I graduated in 1997 and went into the Marines that summer and the Monte Carlo went into the garage and for the most part has been sitting there ever since (only driven on rare occasions) I just started it up again on July 3, 2019 and posted video to YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OS-G5LdL7Y

My dad had the interior restored and the engine rebuilt when I started driving it in High School but he never had it repainted. The body always looked decent from a distance but it was a daily driver for 25 years so up close it shows the little dings and scratches that happen to a car that old. A couple years ago my plan was to finally get it repainted. If it was to be done I wanted it to be done right so I stripped it down, took off all the chrome, grill, bumpers, glass, etc and started sanding on it a little but never made it very far. When I took out the rear glass it exposed some metal rot around the bottom (see pictures) Also a little bit of rust behind the rear wheels - nothing too extreme but will probably need to be patched. (see pictures). Patch panels for rear window can be bought here: http://www.beldenspeed.com/rust-patch-panels/1970---1972-monte-carlo

I have the small parts I took off labeled in zip lock bags. Obviously the big parts (bumpers, grill, glass, seats etc) are also included, I'm not parting it out. If you have the time and experience you can finish what I started and end up with a really nice 1st generation Monte Carlo.
