1969 Chevrolet C-10 Van Description

1969 Chevrolet G10 cargo van. Clean title in my hand. Runs good, currently registered and insured. E-mail me with questions. I drive it on weekends to run errands. 230 six with three on the tree. It surprisingly accelerates fast. This may be the rear gear ratio, I guess, that makes it take off quick at a light. I have taken it on the highways, it does about 50 to 55 in the right lane.
I know what you are thinking. You want one of these hard to find vans, but are finding them to be really rusted, or very expensive. Well, this one is not all rusted out. The rocker panels are solid. No rust through repaired anywhere on this van. A magnet will stick to any part of this van body.
But you are reluctant, because you really want one that has a period correct first aid kit. This one has one. You still say, "I had my heart set on a van with a set of emergency reflectors made by Foco Flar." This van has a set. See the photos. You also say, "But I really want one that has a map of Los Angeles on the driver door, and an original jack with the original instructions." Bingo. Got that too. Also, you say you want one that does not have any hack jobs in the roof or sides. Got it! All the electrics work. Newly upholstered seats. New tires. Brake system rebuilt. New leaf spring bushings. Unknown mileage, the speedo works, but the odometer does not. No radio, so you will have to sing to yourself. It has the oldskool A.C., you know, the one where you open the vent windows and the little door in front of your feet. There is a little rust below the steering column, and a previous owner cut a hole next to the master cylinder cover to access the clutch linkage. A good idea, actually. I have it for sale locally, and reserve the right to end the auction if it sells locally. Located in Anderson, S.C. $200.00 DEPOSIT DUE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF AUCTION END.

Disregard what I aid about having it for sale locally. I have decided, due to the interest in the van, I will let the auction run its course.

I forgot to mention this van has a newly re-cored radiator, and does not run hot. I recently drove it on a 93 degree day in heavy traffic, and it did not overheat.
