This Camaro is restored from the bottom up, complete frame off nut and bolt restoration as a Copo tribute. Copo stands for Central Office Production Order. Typically it was a special ordered high performance sleeper. EXTERIOR: California built car. This body is really sweet. It's laser straight down both sides and across the tops. Body panels fit real smooth and square. The paint is polished to a glass finish from the rockers to the roof. All of the exterior chrome,... trim, emblems have been replaced. New windshield, weatherstrips and window seals. It features spoilers, quarter panel louvers, cowl hood, no ugly vinyl top. Rims are painted to match the body, has mint set of poverty caps. New set of radial tires. Right after it rolled out of the photo studio, a gentleman that seemed to be very knowledgeable about Camaros and seemed very fussy twice commented how clean the body is. INTERIOR: Inside the car has a very unique strato bench seat, it's basically bucket seats joined at the hip with a fold down center armrest. It also features the 140 mile an hour speedometer, in dash tachometer and below are vintage style Stewart Warner oil and temperature gauges. A retro stereo fits right in the factory hole, has aux plugs. Inside the car has been completely restored- door panels, window cranks, headliner, visors, mirror, carpet have all been replaced. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very healthy 396-375 hp, badged as a 427. It runs strong, it's snappy. Has GM square port heads matched to an original aluminum intake. Has long tube headers. The cowl induction system is complete and functional. The motor compartment is completely restored to factory specs. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very clean trunk compartment, neat and tidy. Has a collapsible spare with an air bottle and complete jack. Has a rubber mat, also included is a really nice soft car cover. Under the trunk lid and jamb is glossy, new weatherstrip and decals. UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame, everything under the car has been restored or replaced. All the suspension and steering components, gas tank, brakes, fuel lines, bushings etc are new. Has s very fat exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Bottom of the motor is spotless, has Turbo 400 auto dated 1969. Restored driveshaft and U-joints. 12 bolt rear end in back. Has disc brakes in front, new e-brake assembly. The metal is pristine. The floors, frame and components are smooth, not even pitted. The lower, inner rear 1/4s are clean with original drain plugs. Everything is detailed and painted. This is a high quality, frame off restored Camaro big block! Exceptionally clean body and floors.
